Dr. Alyssa Degnan
Owner and Medical Director
Evello is proudly owned and operated by Dr. Alyssa M. Degnan, a highly accomplished physician with more than 23 years of experience in internal medicine. Since acquiring Evello in April 2024, Dr. Degnan has brought her passion for personalized healthcare into the world of medical aesthetics, creating a space where clinical excellence meets elevated self-care. For Dr. Degnan, integrating aesthetics into her medical practice has been both exciting and rewarding, allowing her to help patients enhance not only their health, but also their confidence and quality of life.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Degnan began her educational journey at Manhattan College in New York City before earning her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. She completed her internship in Philadelphia and continued her medical training at Pennsylvania Hospital within the University of Pennsylvania healthcare system, where she spent four years refining her clinical expertise.
After relocating to Aiken, South Carolina, Dr. Degnan spent 16 years practicing traditional internal medicine before introducing the concept of concierge medicine to the Aiken community. Today, she owns and operates one of the busiest and most successful MDVIP practices in the country, where her focus remains on highly personalized healthcare and preventative wellness. This same philosophy of individualized attention and exceptional care carries over into every experience at Evello Med Spa.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Degnan is deeply committed to living the wellness lifestyle she encourages in her patients. A former Division I college basketball player, she remains passionate about fitness and healthy living, incorporating daily exercise and self-care into her routine. When she’s not caring for patients or working in the aesthetics clinic, Dr. Degnan enjoys spending time with her husband, their six children, and their three golden retrievers. She can often be found fishing near Fripp Island, lifting weights at the gym, or sharpening her tennis game on the court.
Dr. Degnan’s energy, dedication, and enthusiasm for life are reflected in everything she does. Through Evello Med Spa, she continues to inspire those around her, helping clients feel confident, refreshed, and empowered to look and live their very best.

As Spa Manager, Joanne is dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience at every touchpoint. From overseeing daily operations to supporting the team and ensuring personalized service, they help create the calm, elevated atmosphere our guests have come to expect.
Anna Holt
Professional Electrologist
Anna has been a professional electrologist at Evello since 2022, helping clients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. She is passionate about helping people recognize their natural beauty while providing a unique and highly specialized service. A proud Aiken native, Anna loves working in the community where she grew up. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her wife, their two children, and their many pets.

Laura Lee Rockey is a dual-licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician with over 25 years of experience in the wellness and beauty industry. Specializing in therapeutic massage, advanced skincare, and lash artistry, Laura is known for her precision, expertise, and personalized care. Clients appreciate her warm approach and leave each session feeling refreshed and renewed. Outside of work, Laura enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, and exploring art, music, and the outdoors.
Rylee Cunningham
Licensed Aesthetician
Rylee Cunningham is a licensed esthetician passionate about helping clients look and feel their best. She earned her esthetics license in May 2025 after attending esthetics school at Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Originally from Pickens, South Carolina, Rylee made Aiken her home in August 2025 and is excited to serve this wonderful community. Her favorite services to perform are custom facials and brow laminations because she loves creating results that leave her clients feeling confident, refreshed, and glowing.

Donna Edwards

Aiken has been home to Donna since the age of two. She was raised alongside her seven siblings, and today her entire family still calls Aiken County home. She has been happily married for more than 34 years and is the proud mother of two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time in her garden. With more than 30 years of nursing experience, Donna began her career in cardiology before specializing in digestive health, earning her certification in Gastroenterology Nursing. At Evello, she provides IV hydration therapy, Vitamin B12 injections, and laser hair removal. She has developed a true passion for laser treatments and enjoys helping patients achieve smooth, confident skin through personalized care. Known for her compassionate approach and clinical expertise, she is dedicated to ensuring every guest feels comfortable, cared for, and confident throughout their experience at Evello.

A lifelong Aiken native, Kelley Taylor has spent the past 26 years doing what she loves, which is helping clients look and feel their best. Born and raised in Aiken, she’s especially grateful to have built her career and raised her family in the community she calls home. Kelley loves all aspects of the salon industry, but extensions are where her passion truly shines. For her, it’s about more than great hair, it’s the instant confidence that comes with it. Whether it’s a subtle refresh or a complete transformation, Kelley loves working with each client to bring their hair goals to life and make sure they leave her chair feeling their absolute best.
